Submersible UV lights
Municipal water supply uses excess chlorine to control the growth in reservoirs and piping systems. Commercial and residential systems also need to disinfect treated water - and the answer is a simple UV light in the storage water tanks.
Germicidal UV has been used in water disinfection systems for many years as it does not require the use of chemicals. Microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and algae, are inactivated within seconds of UV light disinfection. UV light is effective in inactivating Cryptosporidium, while at the same time decreasing chlorinated disinfection by-products.
